SUSTAINABILITY

At Primetime, we aim to improve the environmental sustainability in our tours by taking initiatives to make the expeditions onboard eco-friendly. We are:

Diesel saver – Sail yachts by default have low fuel consumption and Primetime has improved our efficiency with a battery capacity of 80kW with an additional 5kW solar roof. Whenever possible, we sail with wind energy. We rely on rudders or electric outboard for the water toys to leave the smallest possible footprint.

Plastic collector – We encourage our guests to collect waste and plastics during diving or island exploration and dispose them off onboard. Together with WWF-Philippines, we believe that everyone can be an advocate for the environment.

Plastic reducer – We avoid the usage of disposable plastics. Instead of using PET bottles, our guests receive a 0.5litre metal water bottle upon arrival and they can bring home after the trip. Also, we use resuable metal straws and reduces the purchase of plastics. Food containers are used whenever possible when we purchase food. We have replaced all plastics water toys with durable and sustainable Grabner products. Grabner manufacture rubber inflatable boats without the use of PVC.

Watermaker – We have a water treatment system to provide us with sustainable and high quality drinking water which are used in our cooking and homemade beverages, and even for shower and toilets.

Product aware – Primetime provides biodegradable shower products, shampoo, conditioner and coral-friendly sunscreen onboard. We make sure that the «dirt» we leave behind are biodegrable.
